Functieomschrijving:

As a Functional Analyst, you will join an Agile scrum team and play a key role in translating business requirements into functional specifications. You’ll document and validate user stories, support the testing process, and collaborate closely with developers, UX designers, and business stakeholders to ensure solutions meet expectations. This position requires analytical thinking, attention to detail, and the ability to create clarity in complex situations.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse and document requirements as user stories with clear acceptance criteria.
• Structure and simplify complex business challenges into actionable designs.
• Collaborate with the development, testing, and UX teams during sprints.
• Conduct BPM and data analysis (SQL).
• Prepare and execute functional test scenarios and reports.
• Maintain complete and structured documentation.
• Act as point of contact for functional queries and support end-users.
• Continuously improve processes and team efficiency through Agile practices.

Eisen:

• Minimum 8 years of experience as a Functional Analyst.
• Strong analytical background and understanding of BPM and data analysis (SQL).
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, FigJam, and UX prototyping tools.
• Familiarity with Agile and ITIL methodologies.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in French and/or Dutch, fluent in English.
• Willingness to work 2 days per week on-site in Brussels.
