Functieomschrijving:

As a .NET Developer, you will join the CurveBuilding team within the IS Trading and Sales Tools division, supporting the development and enhancement of software components that transform market order books into real-time pricing curves for an energy trading platform. You will collaborate closely with teams in Brussels and Paris, participate in Agile ceremonies, deliver new features, and provide local application support. This role combines technical expertise with strong communication skills to work directly with traders and stakeholders.

Eisen:

Strong experience in .NET backend development (7+ years)

Proficiency with REST APIs and algorithm design (5–7 years)

Hands-on experience with RabbitMQ, Azure DevOps, Kubernetes (2–4 years)

Basic knowledge of AWS (under 2 years)

Familiarity with real-time systems, market data, or financial modeling is a plus

Comfortable working in Agile/Scrum teams

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Fluent in English; French is a strong advantage

Willingness to work hybrid in Brussels (2–3 days/week onsite) and travel regularly to Paris

Competenties:

Expert-level .NET development skills

Strong knowledge of RESTful API design and integration

Advanced algorithm design and problem-solving abilities

Practical experience with message queuing (RabbitMQ)

Familiarity with cloud and DevOps tools (Azure DevOps, Kubernetes, basic AWS)

Understanding of real-time data processing and market data systems

Agile mindset and active participation in Scrum rituals

Excellent collaboration and communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders

Ability to provide reliable local and on-call support

Arbeidsvoorwaarden:

Start Date: 01/07/2025

End Date: 30/06/2026 (with two possible 1-year extensions)

Location: Hybrid — 2–3 days per week onsite in Brussels, with regular travel to Paris

Working Hours: Full-time
