Functieomschrijving:

The Workplace Security Specialist will support DG SANTE’s Information Systems unit by conducting security risk assessments, diagnosing complex IT security and identity issues, and designing, implementing, and supporting solutions to mitigate risks. The role includes integrating security technologies across endpoints, servers, and networks, performing security studies and assessments, drafting security plans and policies, and ensuring confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information systems. The position is near-site, requiring availability to reach Brussels within two hours, and demands adherence to European Commission security standards.

Eisen:

Minimum EQF Level 6 education (Bachelor’s degree or equivalent).

EU-27 security clearance (or eligibility).

At least 1 year of experience with security standards for European Commission information systems.

At least 3 years in IT Security Risk Management Methodology.

At least 3 years in IT Security Compliance Management.

At least 3 years drafting security plans for information systems.

At least 3 years managing IT security vulnerabilities.

At least 3 years drafting and implementing security policies.

At least 1 year supporting incident investigations.

At least 1 year of experience with ServiceNow or equivalent.

At least 1 year of experience with Confluence and Jira.

Fluent English (C1 level).

Wensen:

Knowledge of additional EU languages.

Experience working in multicultural/international environments.
