Functieomschrijving:

The role focuses on designing, deploying, and operating AI services within a sovereign cloud environment. The engineer ensures that AI tools are production-ready, governed, and observable across their full lifecycle.

Key activities include:

Building and automating ML lifecycle pipelines (CI/CD/CT)

Managing deployment, versioning, and integration of AI models and data pipelines

Ensuring governance, auditability, and compliance of AI systems

Implementing monitoring, alerting, and performance optimization

Maintaining operational excellence through documentation and run processes

Collaborating with AI, cloud, and infrastructure teams in an agile environment 

Eisen:

Strong experience in ML Ops, DevOps, or Data Engineering

Proven experience in secure or regulated environments

Hands-on experience with:

CI/CD pipelines

Infrastructure-as-Code

Model registries and deployment workflows

Observability and monitoring tools

Solid understanding of:

ML lifecycle management

AI production systems and operations

Governance, compliance, and auditability principles 

Wensen:

Experience with sovereign cloud or highly regulated sectors

Knowledge of AI governance frameworks and model validation processes

Experience with RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) and agent-based workflows

Familiarity with cost control and resource governance in cloud environments

Experience working in agile / scrum teams
