Functieomschrijving:

As a Senior Automation Engineer / DevOps Specialist, you will be part of a team responsible for infrastructure automation and platform engineering. You will design, implement, and maintain automated solutions to ensure scalable, consistent, and reliable infrastructure operations.

Your responsibilities include developing Infrastructure as Code and Configuration as Code solutions using Ansible, managing and optimizing Linux/Red Hat environments, and building automation scripts using JavaScript. You will also design and maintain CI/CD pipelines, integrate version control practices using Git, and contribute to DevOps transformation initiatives.

In addition, you will collaborate closely with technical teams and stakeholders, improve existing workflows, and ensure documentation and knowledge sharing across the team. Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Kubernetes or OpenShift is considered an advantage.

Eisen:

• Must be a Dutch national and residing in the Netherlands
• Strong knowledge of Dutch and English (spoken and written)
• Must be eligible for security screening (lead time 8–12 weeks)
• Minimum 5–7 years of experience in infrastructure automation, DevOps, or platform engineering
• Strong experience with Ansible (Infrastructure as Code / Configuration as Code)
• Experience with Linux / Red Hat environments (administration, troubleshooting, optimization)
• Strong JavaScript scripting skills
• Experience with Git and version control workflows
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
• Understanding of Infrastructure as Code and automation principles

Wensen:
