As a Data Scientist, you will contribute to the design, development, and implementation of data-driven solutions. You will analyse complex datasets, develop predictive and machine learning models, and visualize insights that support decision-making. You’ll work within an innovation ecosystem alongside experts in data, AI, and engineering to help clients translate ideas into measurable impact.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop machine learning algorithms for classification, regression, and NLP.
• Analyse complex data and translate findings into business insights.
• Build predictive models and ensure their performance and scalability.
• Create clear, visually engaging data visualizations for stakeholders.
• Stay up to date with AI, data science, and technology trends.
• Support business development through technical input and client collaboration.
• Mentor junior colleagues and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional experts in a dynamic, Agile environment.

Eisen:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, AI, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field.
• 2–5 years of relevant experience in data science or analytics.
• Strong knowledge of Python and/or R (pandas, TensorFlow, scikit-learn, matplotlib).
• Familiarity with ML frameworks (Keras, PyTorch) and NLP libraries (SpaCy, NLTK).
• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, Google).
• Knowledge of Agile working methods.
• Fluent in French, minimum B2 level Dutch, and strong English.
• Must be legally residing in Belgium.

Wensen:

• Experience in software development or DevOps.
• Knowledge of computer vision and Linked Data.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, or ML-Ops pipelines.
• Experience with Unity or simulation technologies.
• Passion for continuous learning and applied innovation.
